Superman, also known as the Man of Steel (The Man of Steel), is a fictional character, super hero characters of the most famous and influential of DC Comics.

Invented by a Canadian artist Joe Shuster and writer Jerry Siegel US in 1932 when they were teenagers in Cleveland, Ohio, and then sell it to Detective Comics, Inc. in 1938. Superman first appeared in Action Comics # 1 (June 1938) and subsequently appeared in various radio serials, television programs, movies, newspapers, comics, novels, and video games. With the success of his adventures, Superman helped create the superhero genre and create excellence in American comic books.

As told in Action Comics # 1, Superman was born on the planet Krypton with the name Kal-El, and when I was a baby rocket launch to Earth by his father, Jor-El, shortly before the planet is destroyed. Rockets later landed on Earth, in a field, which was discovered by the couple Kent, Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent, who later adopted him and named Clark Kent.
